After learning that she is the legitimate heir to the throne of Genovia, a small European country, Mia must move there to learn the customs and traits in order to prepare her for her eventual rule. One caveat of her lineage requires her to become married within a certain period of time or else forfeit the crown. Now, she must choose a husband from a long list of uninteresting princes.
