Director Mike Gordon, otherwise known as the bassist for jam band Phish, follows 25 of the world's greatest bass guitar players in a one-of-a-kind project. The gathering is a tribute to their late colleague and friend, bassist Allen Woody of blues-rock trio Gov't Mule. The result is Gov't Mule's "The Deep End" albums, a heralding of these otherwise unrecognized musicians.
