Max Normante (Traci Lords) is a successful editor that has an eye for undiscovered talent. Unfortunately, Max hasn't been able to shape her personal life as well. She yearns to be a mother, but having reached her thirties, she knows the clock is ticking. Jake Buckley (Paul Johansson) is a struggling but talented writer whose previous attempts at getting published have been unsuccessful. Max has the perfect solution; she'll give life to his "baby" if he gives life to hers.
