'Midnight Sun' is an collection of late night jazz tracks by Herb Alpert with orchestral accompaniment. Songs include some of Alpert's classics such as 'A Taste of Honey', but not performed in the pop style one would usually attribute to Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. Rather, the music of this album is disctinctively mellower, with Herb Alpert's horns complimented by rich orchestrations. The album is one of a kind.
