About this product:

Legion is the second full length album by the American death metal band Deicide. It was released by Roadrunner Records in 1992. Legion is more musically ambitious than most of Deicide's other albums, incorporating more technical riffing and song structures. The album remains a seminal fan favorite and is widely regarded as the best album Deicide has ever produced. However, the band consider this album as their most difficult and claim it is too chaotic but when the Hoffman brothers quit the band, Eric Hoffman stated it is simply because Glen Benton refused to play longer sets and could not do technical riffing on his bass. Despite the praise that Legion receives from the Deicide fanbase, Dead But Dreaming is the only track of this album that remained in their live set. Unlike Deicide's first album, this release did not use any kind of studio manipulation on Glen Benton's vocals. The first track, Satan Spawn, the Caco-Daemon, features a backward message. At about twenty seconds, a voice can be heard saying "Satan Spawn, the Caco-Daemon."
