Prospective fathers of a couple getting married meet for the first time and realize that they couldn't be any more different from one another. The father of the bride is an unassuming podiatrist content with his uneventful existence. The father of the groom is a CIA operative with a shady past and a desire to live each moment like it's the last one. The podiatrist soon discovers that this wedding will upset his world more than he ever thought it would.
