The sequel to the Game Boy Advance's first baseball game features several enhancements to the engine used by its predecessor. First and foremost, the title supports two players for head-to-head action. Both players need a copy of the game and a Game Link Cable to play against one another. Secondly, statistical tracking is available during Season mode. Players can now see how well their team is performing as the season progresses.
