An actor who had a hit movie when he was a kid that was essentially the British HOME ALONE returns to his hometown for Christmas. When an opportunity arises for him to write and direct a play at the area's prestigious stage school, he decides to mount a sequel to the film that has plagued him with its former child star baggage. He eventually realizes that it's his family and friends that matter during X-mas.
