With his expedition stranded for approximately 15 months and his ship crushed by Antarctic pack ice, Sir Ernest Shackleton and five of his crew embarked on a harrowing mission to get help for the men that remained behind. Using a replica boat and the same equipment and clothing as would have been used by the crew in 1916, explorer Tim Jarvis and his team attempt to follow in Shackleton's wake to unlock the secrets of his survival.
