everyone for ten minutes is the fifth album from Bleachers - a New Jersey band fronted by decorated producer Jack Antonoff. Thematically it explores comradery and friendships. Released in May of 2026 the album was recorded between Fall 2024 and Winter 2026 at various studios in the USA, Italy, and the UK. The most notable recording location being Electric Lady Studios which is the setting for some accompanying performance videos and referenced in the final track upstairs at els. The album's title (everyone for ten minutes) comes from a setting for the Apple Airdrop feature that can be used to share photos and files on iPhone and other compatible devices. The everyone for ten minutes toggle opens Airdrop to strangers’ devices rather than people exclusively in your contacts. On Instagram Jack had discussed how the idea of only being open to everyone around you for a short amount of time reflected modern life and the social dynamics in increasingly isolated and busy lives. you and forever, dirty wedding dress, the van, and i'm not joking served as the singles for the album. dirty wedding dress is different on the vinyl release of the album, not only with a different position on the track list but some alternate vocal takes and slightly different lines to what is heard on streaming. Critically, everyone for ten minutes received favourable reviews with a Metacritic score of 74 (as of 27/05/26). With positive reviews praising the energetic sound and deeper themes of grief and devotion. More mixed reviews suggested the album didn't evolve much on past material, sticking to proven sonic formulas in areas with moments of ambition and variety. On Reddit, fan reception was positive with the opinion that this is the most consistent album in quality since 2017's Gone Now.
