Ryan is a small time reporter, his wife is a pharmaceutical employee whose company is making pills that will painlessly end human life. William is a parolee who has just been released from prison after serving time for killing his entire family when he was 12. William is willing to give Ryan the inside scoop on the killings, in exchange for the pills that will allow William to end his own life.
